Jerry C. Jaques formed Riverwood in 1993 from Parkside Senior Services, where he had been employed since 1986. While at Parkside Senior Services, he was responsible for developing the southeast operations into Parkside’s largest region, providing continuing-care retirement community management services to more than 1,800 independent living units and 400 skilled nursing beds. From 1975 to 1986, Mr. Jaques was employed by Beverly Enterprises, where his responsibilities included management of over 1,350 units. A business administration graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Jaques is a licensed nursing home administrator in both Florida and North Carolina. He is a member of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and is an evaluator for the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission.
